The Rock of Salvation

Through the storms of my life,
But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and all the domestic animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided; the fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained, and the waters gradually receded from the earth…the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
Genesis 8
And in the dry times,
You are always present,
Though many times I feel alone,
Forsaken,
Abandoned,
Left out,
Hung out,
Used and abused.
And the wildness in me fights
With the settler in me,
The tamed mind,
Wages war with the indigene heart,
Empire thoughts seek the crushing,
Of my soul,
And yet,
Here you are,
Calling me on,
As the ark of me,
Comes to rest in the mountains of prayer

Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life…If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him…I am in the Father and the Father is in me…If in my name you ask me for anything, I will do it.’ John 14
In silence,
In the stillness of
Stillness,
Among the mountains of prayer,
There comes a voice,
Gentle and firm,
Wordless and yet Word,
Sometimes agitating,
Sometimes reassuring,
Always True.
The fountains of the deep,
And the windows of heaven,
Have cleansed you,
She said,
As the wind blows,
Freedom,
All over my drowning, water-rat head.
And the wind cries, Abba,
I in you,
And you in me…….
Ask in the Name,
And walk in the Way…………

In you, O Lord, I have I taken refuge…you are my rock and my stronghold; guide me, and lead me for your name’s sake. Into your hands I commend my spirit, for you have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth. Psalm 31
Abba b-iḏaiḵ sa’em ‘na ruḥ
Abba, into your hands,
I commend my spirit.
Mother, Father,
Meshiach, Christa,
Rucha, Spirit,
Hochma, Wisdom,
b-iḏaiḵ sa’em ‘na ruḥ.
And I pray, in your name,
For all the lost ones,
The hurting and confused,
For all,
In whom myriad voices quarrel,
And silence cannot speak.
May they find the Peace,
And in her,
The Rock of their Salvation. Amen.
Wonderful. Thank you
