Open the Door

recorded version

He brought him outside and said, ‘Look towards heaven and count the stars, if you are able to count them.’ Then he said to him, ‘So shall your descendants be.’

And he believed the Lord; and the Lord reckoned it to him as righteousness.

צֶדֶק  ~ ts-ed-ek ~ rightness,

I AM reckons Abram’s faith, rightness.

Judging appearances amounts to wrong thinking,

Judging in this way negates possibility,

Closes the self to providence, blocks the flow of Grace,

But Abram meets the The One Who Is

In meditation,

And Abram knows, in this moment,

That which Abram is………………………………..

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen…By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible…Our ancestors died in faith without having received the promises, but from a distance they saw and greeted them. They confessed that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth… seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of the land that they had left behind, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one.                              Hebrews 11

Hiraeth,

The longing for our true home,

The unbounded vastness,

From which we came.

“Listen,” says the sage,

“To the wail of the reed-flute,

As she cries in her agony,

Having been ripped from the reed bed,”

Sound of human soul,

Torn from the Oneness,

Split by the axe of duality,

She yearns for her freedom,

Like Son of Man with no place

To lay his head……………………………………….

‘Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom…Be dressed for action and have your lamps lit; be like those who are waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet, so that they may open the door for him as soon as he comes and knocks…                                               Luke 12

~ Breathe ~

Return to the Beginning.

The one who stands at the beginning, stands at the end.

She will not be extinguished by death,

But will find herself already, in eternity.

Be still in the morning,

Be still in the evening,

Breathe in the presence of Presence.

Wait for the Lord…

Wait For The Lord,
Whose Day Is Near.
Wait For The Lord,
Keep Watch, Take Heart!”  x 3
(Taize)

Our soul waits longingly for the Lord;  he is our help and our shield.  Indeed, our heart rejoices in him;  in his holy name have we put our trust.  The earth is full of the loving-kindness of the Lord.           Psalm 33
