“Whoever comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and even life itself, cannot be my disciple.”

What do you possess, that you need to let go?
And what possesses you,
that you need to break free?
Do you even want to break free?

Will you take the leap?
Let go the weight, the anchor of a life digging-in,
rigging- up,
winning and losing
the war to control,
that which you never really could cling
tight
enough
to,
to take the strain
of salvation
for your own soul?

Your children.
Your wife. Your partner.
Father, mother,
sister, brother.
Daughter.
Son.
Your nephew. Neice.
Do you honestly think
a human being
could
belong
to you,
to possess or release?

Well.
Do you?
